I hope you’re here because you want to stamp your unique personalities on your wedding. You want your photography to be creative, authentic, and to embody ALL the emotions and special details of your big day…to capture everything. You want to have a relaxed and enjoyable experience, not stuffy and formal.

You’ve probably looked at a lot of photography websites, but these images stand out to you, and you feel like you know the people in them. You’re not just looking for the cheapest photographer in your neck of the woods. You see the beauty and value in documenting the beginning of a new heritage in a fashion that is worthy of your walls for decades to come and longer. You reckon, if we met, we’d be friends.

Perfect! I’m glad we found each other! Lets meet over a glass of lemonade, or a cup of joe. I want to learn about your unique relationship and vision for your big day. Currently I shoot weddings across the continent, so if we can’t manage face-to-face, lets enjoy getting to know each other over Skype.

 

A B O U T   J U N E

I am so grateful to be in my thirties, love the smell of a campfire, grew up in Hawaii, can’t wait for football Sundays (thanks Dad), should have an IV for my coffee, enjoy a good car karaoke/dance party, and I can’t live without my down comforter. Lastly, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography in 2009. Since that time I’ve been blessed to have photographed close to 100 weddings and have traveled around the world shooting for large and small corporations, magazines, families, and couples.

“We hired June for our weekend activities (May 5th and 6th). We had a very non-traditional wedding. We had a family cookout the day before our wedding. It was very laid back – we wanted to be able to spend time with our family and friends in a relaxed setting. We wanted to have FUN!!! And we did. June arrived and there was so many things left to do to ensure that the cookout went off without a hitch. June was my Angel! She asked if she could help. I was hesitant at first because she’s the photographer. She asked again, and I accepted. She helped with decorations and setting up the tables. She laughed and joked with my friends. She fit right in!!! Somehow, while helping with setup, she took fun, energetic, happy photos of everything. She took photos of people from different angles, she captured laughter, hugs, kisses. She captured two families melding together. The morning of our wedding she showed up to my hotel room and took pictures of everything: my family getting ready, my dress, my shoes. She took photos of my “show stopping” transformation. I felt like a super model. It was so much more than I expected. She took pictures of me as a bare canvas and captured the beauty of a bride. Our ride from the hotel to Central Park (where we got married) was full of jokes and laughter. June caught it all. She’s amazing at being invisible and capturing beautiful secret moments. Ok, now the grand stuff. Lol! She caught everything at the park. She’s magnificent!!! She took pictures of my arrival, my sisters walking me down the aisle. She took pictures of my handsome husband and his awesome brother (who performed our ceremony) waiting for me at the alter. She has pictures of my guests and the violinist. I was wondering if everyone was ok. If they were happy, bored, tired, etc. June answered my questions with her pictures. Everyone was happy. She captures life and all of its variables I could go on but 3500 words just is not enough. June is more than a photographer. She’s a kind hearted, beautiful, intelligent woman that has a gift for capturing love with a lens. My family loves her and you may hire her to be your photographer but we are keeping her in our family as a new member.”

“June shot our wedding on May 30, 2012 and it was, by far, one of the best decisions we have ever made. There are so many reasons we loved sharing our day with her (way too many to list)! But here are the two I appreciate the most. Authenticity. I’m normally extremely nervous in front of the camera. I didn’t think my wedding day would be any different.
